North, Trace and Aly were sitting in the library arguing about where they wanted to go for a holiday should they ever have the chance to get away for a few weeks. None of them could come up with a place that they all agreed on and were starting to get a bit loud.
Grace walked in just then and wanted to know what on earth was going on. "My goodness girls, we could hear you all the way down the halls. What on earth is the problem?"
Aly looked to the other two before answering. "Well Grace, we were discussing different places to go should we ever all get the same time off."
"Is that all? That is what all the noise has been about?" Grace asked. "Well I had a great time in Venice when I went a few years ago. In fact if I'm not mistaken we have some books on that lovely city somewhere here. Let's take a look."
The girls started looking through the shelves and it wasn't long before they found the books Grace had said were there. Aly still looking even after the others had sat back down found a soft bound book with the title Venezia on the spine. "Hey girls, I just found another one."
"Well bring it over here Aly." North motioned with her hands. "Let's take a look."
Aly handed the book to North as she took her seat. North started to flip through the pages.
"Anything interesting?" Trace asked.
"Yeah. There are a few stories in here about visits to Venice. Sorta like a diary."
"Great. How many stories?" Grace asked.
North looked at the table of contents... "Three stories altogether. The titles are, Venezia, Mission Venice and The Spell of Venice. Why don't I read them aloud and we'll see what they have to tell us."
Trace nodded her head. "Yeah that sounds good. Let's all get something to eat and drink first though and that way we won't have to stop part way through."
Before long they were all back and settled into their comfy chairs and North started to read the first story.
