Part Two

Sherry was in the store trying to purchase everything that Curlly had listed on her panel. Curlly had played footloose and fancy free with some Red Cell accounts so that they had plenty to spend on this shopping spree.

"Avi hold that dress up." Curlly spoke into Avi’s comm. unit.

"Curlly this had better be the one." Avi said under her breath.

"Its just the right color and cut. Add it to the pile Avi."

Sherry was trying to make this the fastest shopping expedition in history. She had everyone in different stores buying the goods. "Curlly have you secured our rooms."

"Yup the penthouse at the Acapulco Princess. Come dressed in saris please." Curlly confirmed.

"Dress no way." DeLeah said as she walked away from Aries who was holding a dress much like a weapon.

"Oh yes you are. This dress will distract Antonio should you bump into him." Aries said with a smile.

"Aries put on your glasses. I want to see it." Curlly commanded.

"Man that girl should have come with us." Aries said as she slipped on her glasses.

"Yup that will look just fine on her."

"Does anyone care what I think?"

"No!" Came from both of them.

"Ouch! No need to give it to me in stereo." DeLeah said as she winced.

"What is the status on Rita’s team?" Sherry inquired.

"She has gotten the layout and has a plan on how to get in. That will be discussed after you are done shopping." Curlly commented.

Rita stood in a sundress, sunglasses in place looking like the typical American tourist on vacation. She was walking down the main strip in Acapulco where anything could be found from several hotels, clubs, shops, and banks. Yet she had her eye on one club, Salon Q. Through talking to several cabbies, she found out that a prominent businessman, who owned several hotspots in Acapulco, owned the club.

On her comm. Unit she heard Aries, "He will be at Palladium tonight."

"Excellent." Rita said, "Well time to get the glam on. Get to the Acapulco Princess. How did Nahla do?"

"Well we have to work on her flirting skills some more."

"Tonight she will get more than enough practice." Rita said with a smile.

Meanwhile Brenna and Nabiki were securing transportation from the different egress points. When the girls regrouped at the opulent suite, they all had something to report. Curlly was checking out the purchases designating what each girl would wear.

"Tonight the plan is simple go to Palladium and get ourselves invited to the gathering at Salon Q tomorrow night. The owner is supposed to be there find him and hopefully he will fall for one of us."

"How could he not?" Nabiki said as she held the white dress that Curlly had picked out for her.

*************

"I am not wearing that!" said Xavier emphatically.

"There is no choice to be made just grin and bear it." Roarke said as he watched Jace stare in confusion at his outfit.

"Gentlemen these outfits were tailor made for you. They should fit quite well." Roarke replied.

"Easy for you to say since I don’t see one here for you." Jack said as he went to try his on. He knew they had no choice, but he still didn’t like it.

"Its not that bad." Roy said as he stared in the mirror at himself in amazement. He had worn worse though.

"Now, if Section would have given us more notice I could have gotten you all in but at this late date…" he let that hang in the air.

Michael walked in his outfit on. "There will be no more discussions or complaining. We are here to do the job."

Roarke surveyed Michael critically in the outfit as he walked by. "You will have to lose the strut, Michael." Michael gave him the blank stare in return.

"I sincerely hope the girls do not get into the club. They will never let us live this down." Sinjn said as he tried on the shoes that went with the outfit.

The music could be heard lightly outside one could only imagine how loud it was inside. The line of cars outside indicated the popularity of the club. The girls thought that they would have to wait in line forever. Yet a large group of girls gained access quite easily. They made an impressive entrance, heads turned and comments about the ladies were said. They were led to a table right in the dead center front row of tables.

Clubs in Acapulco harkened back to days of old where people were assigned tables instead of the current mode of having no place to sit in between dances. The waiter came and efficiently took down their drink orders. The dance floor was alive with participants.

Sherry was looking about trying to see of she could see the owner. She nodded to Rita who sat across from her. Rita too was looking at least in a club when looking about it was not considered suspicious. Someone came to ask Curlly to dance. She went along hoping for a better view of the people in the club.

The other ladies got asked to dance but their hearts were not in it. Rita sat refusing all offers to dance she was feeling a little lost without Michael and Roarke. She had gotten used to being with one or another.

When suddenly the waiter cleared their table put on a fresh crisp linen table cloth. Then he placed a dish of strawberries and apple slices in front of her. Rita was staring in surprise, she tried to stop him by saying that they did not order that. The other girls walked back to the table and watched as champagne was served to all of them.

They waited for they knew whoever sent this would show up but who had sent it?

***********

The boys had finished their rehearsals and were in need of some relaxation. They opted for heading for to a club. They piled into the limousine and headed out. They went to several clubs in the hopes of finding their women yet to no avail.

"One more club and that is it." Xavier exclaimed.

"Maybe they did not go out." Jace said.

"Oh they are out." Roarke said confidently.

"We have to stop them from succeeding in gaining entrance to the gathering tomorrow." Michael said quietly.

They arrived at Palladium the head bouncer seeing Roarke let them all in ahead of the line that awaited them. They were escorted immediately to a table with apologies over the position of the table but it could not be helped because of the hour.

Once seated the men were scanning the crowd for the girls. When they saw a man sitting amongst them flirting it seemed with all of them.

Sherry was laughing, "Thank you for the lovely surprise."

"You’re welcome, but how could I resist a table of beauties. It was impossible."

Rita smiled they had him. Now all they needed was to get him to invite them. Looking around the club she saw trouble. Catching DeLeah’s eye she signaled. DeLeah whispered to Aries. They both stood.

"Ladies leaving so soon." The man asked.

"Oh we will be back. Just going to powder our noses. Excuse us." Aries said sweetly.

They went directly towards the men in an attempt to distract them. "Hey Marco looking quite handsome tonight." Aries said flirtatiously.

"Aries funny seeing you here." He said as he leaned in and kissed her.

Antonio was sitting with a silly grin on his face. He was enjoying the ensemble that the girls had put together for DeLeah for he knew that she would never have chosen it on her own. She was in bright red not black in a dress that hugged her curves.

"TONY!" She yelled.

"Carino disculpame. Te ves bella." He said with a smile. "Care to dance," he said as he took her hand and twirled her around.

DeLeah smiled until she saw that the other men were leaving. "Boys do you have no greetings for us?" She said in an attempt to stall. Hopefully the ladies would accomplish their intent. Yet Jace, Xavier, Jack, Sinjn, Roy, Michael and Roarke waved to the girls and kept on walking.

Suddenly Nahla, Avillion and Brenna were standing there smiling at the boys. "Good evening everyone." Brenna said calmly. See the problem was that the boys in Section were gentlemen they would go through some of the niceties and move along.

Xavier had a wolfish grin on his face as he saw Brenna. "Good evening sweetheart. Where have you been hiding?"

"Oh here there must keep busy if one plans on winning."

"I sincerely doubt you have been as busy as us." Xavier said with a tone of displeasure.

"Why don’t you tell me all about it?" Brenna said as she put her arm through his and began walking towards the large windows to see the bay.

Jace walked up to Nahla, "You are being awfully quiet." He said as he put his arm around her.

Nahla smiled, "I am happy to see you."

Jace smiled good, "I am glad." He bent down and pressed his lips lightly to hers. "Let’s find some place quieter." They walked off together.

"So Avi, not that I am complaining, because you look beautiful but who has been shopping for you?" Jack said with a slow smile.

"That is a long story that you would not believe," Avi said.

"Can I interest you in a drink while you tell me about it?"

"Certainly." The couple walked away.

Michael began to see the pattern and decided it was time to divide and conquer. Roarke and he went off in one direction and Sinjn and Roy in the other.

Nabiki and Curlly were on their way to intercept their men. When they themselves were intercepted, "Would you like to dance?" The inquiry came from two large Mexican males. Who looked at them like they were pieces of candy.

Curlly politely and firmly said, "No, thank you."

Yet they were not taking no for an answer and began pulling at their arms. Roy and Sinjn saw this and began walking faster. When they arrived one of the men was limping courtesy of a well-placed heel and the other was drenched in a drink.

"Ladies are they causing you problems?" Roy said.

"No not at all I believe they have learned their lesson." Nabiki said with a grin.

"We would be more than happy to teach them one." Sinjn said menacingly.

The men walked away knowing when the battle had been lost. Curlly watched at they walked away. "My hero," she said sweetly.

Rita sitting at the table saw that the girls could not contain the pack of boys. Spoke quickly. "I am sorry to cut this short but we have to get up early in the morning to go parasailing and boating. We would be happy to meet with you tomorrow night perhaps?" Ending with an enchanting smile.

The man, Oliver, looked as if he were considering it and said, "Certainly, if you or Sherry will dance one dance with me."

Sherry grabbed his hand before Roarke and Michael descended upon Rita and her. She hoped Rita could keep both of the men busy. Rita stood up to stall them. "Michael and Roarke how nice to see you here."

Both men stopped Michael was trying to see where Sherry had gone but he lost her in the crowd of dancers in the club. "Rita you have been very busy."

"Me?" She said her eyes wide open the picture of innocence.

Roarke took the glass of champagne out of her hands and took a sip. His face showing distaste. "This is an inferior choice. " He waved to the waiter who responded immediately and ordered something.
