PETROSIAN

NAME: Egran Petrosian
POSITION: he was the counterpart to Operations in Russia, but in actual fact he was a deep cover agent for Section.
STATUS: Dead??? We never did see the body!!
EPISODES: Rescue, New Regime

Petrosian first came to our attention during the time that Michael was wounded on a mission in Russia and could not get out in time. Petrosian was the head of the team that was searching for him. We found out later after Michael was rescued by Nikita and Madeline that he was actually a deep cover operative. He went back with the 3 of them.

Petrosian next surfaced when he became the temporary head of Section after Operations was shot and nearly killed by a disgruntled operative. He made a few changes in Section during his reign of power. The first thing he did was to make Nikita his right hand 'man' instead of Madeline. This of course did not please certain people.

Next, he 'recruited' Nikita into trying to kill Operations while he was still hospitalized, by injecting a poison into his neck. But, he was found out as Nikita turned the tables on him. He was supposedly cancelled but we never did see a body.
